What is FMCG ? What is full form of FMCG ? :

FMCG stands for Fast-Moving Consumer Goods which are also known as consumer packed goods. These goods refer to the products that are sold quickly and generally non-durable. It is also known as Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG). The examples of FMCG products are Household products, Functional foods, Personal care products, Products for cleaning and laundry. In FMCG Industry we see a products like soft drinks, processed foods, cosmetics like lip balm, eyeliner, deodorants, soaps, general using products like toilet paper, face towel, shower cap, toilet soaps and dairy products, baked goods, fruits, and vegetables and etc.

 

The Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector is the 4th largest sector of the Indian economy. It is characterised by high turnover consumer packaged goods, i.e. goods that are produced, distributed, marketed and consumed within a short span of time.
